1st, your rose series is really great. 2nd, in your opinion, what makes a photograph 'good'? Thanks in advance. -mlr
There is no way to to say what a good photograph is, it’s purely subjective.

hello! i am in love with your work! Your compositions are beautiful and intriguing. I am a photography student and I was wondering what I should include in my portfolio. I am going to do some body work, but what else should i include since I want to capture my audiences eyes. Thank you so much and have a great day!
I couldn’t tell you what to put in your book. It’s such a personal task and everyone does it differently. Some people organize it by colors, others by subject matter or tonality. Do what feels right to you.

What's your favorite band right now? Your latest still life work is absolutely incredible by the way, not that your work is ever not incredible...
My favorite musician is Andrew Bird. I’m a huge fan of Folk music. It’s been an evolution. I used to only listen to Rap, then it moved to Rock, now I love everything.

I just LOVE all the awkward, angry...well every sort of pose. I love that it's not just pretty. I love photographing, but I've sort of lost my fire for it.. But now you've inspired me to find it again. I often use myself as a model, since I so often wanna photograph at the instant moment that I get that spark (like right now). So thank you for amazing me and waking me up!
I’m glad i could help you with that. I have a series i’m working on with myself. It’s fun to take pictures no matter what it is.

I love your work with all its intensity and simplicity combined! Also what camera would you recommend for a beginner who loves snapping portraits!?
Any camera that gives you a picture. Camera’s are tools, It’s up to how you use it to get what you want.
sssolstice asked:
Would you make Videos Showcasing your behind the scene work ? I think that would be really really Cool
I don’t like people being around when I shoot, It constricts the connection between my subjects and myself. Once in a while you might see a photo of behind the scenes… But not often. We will see.
No no no. You are magnificent! RAH!
silaszur asked:
Do you do much post-process, and do you do it yourself or do you have an editor? I'm so fond of your images, they are inspiring and elegant.
I do most of my retouching, but on big jobs i have a great retoucher.
I don’t do much, but it depends on the feeling i’m trying to convey.
